I said farewell because, frankly, I expected a ban within 10 minutes or so.
I am not banned yet and so far the thread is not locked. I won't be posting on the thread because my point here is not to keep it alive, but it's just as a public warning to MMORPG.COM.
I come here to discuss and not to be muzzled. I don't care if it's a moderator or not, no one is going to intimidate me not to post my mind. I took the challenge and posted right back at them to embarrass them in public. Don't you just love civil disobedience?
Only time will tell if this thread will be locked and I will be banned.
In the meantime, on to regular posting now! (or at least while I survive)

You see, I just can't type in my password accordingly sometimes, and how opportune the timing was that it happened just as I was expecting to get banned.

I am sorry rivals, I tried really, really hard to get banned, and I swear I thought I was, but apparently it's just not happening. /shrug

I locked the second and third. I also issued the warning, so, if you have a problem with the warning, and, subsequently the impending temp ban, then speak to me. I said I did not know why the first was locked because the mod that did lock it did not leave notes to why. We cannot see who locked/deleted a thread.
I tried to be nice and just lock the other ones and not ban you. I have no problem with you and I saw no reason in why the other thread was locked; however, another mod did lock it and we do not simply overrule another mods actions. The easiest, and probably the best way to have resolved the situation was to email [email protected]. The email would have found its way to Stradden. He would have then been able to deal with it appropriately.
The reason why it was locked is as follows (from the Rules of Conduct):
Resurrecting Locked or Deleted Threads - If a thread has previously been deleted or locked by a moderator, it is against our rules to start another thread on the same topic. If a participant in a locked or deleted thread re-starts the thread, a warning and 1 day ban will be issued. If this happens twice, the member will be permanently banned, no exceptions.
Like I said, I was trying to be nice about it and let it go, but you kept recreating the thread. That is why you received the warning.
Apologies if this is the determining factor for you leaving the site.

Dekron, apologies accepted, and u did a good job in following that rule. I am aware of that rule myself and broke it fully conscious of the potential consequences. Obviously, u are not the idiot, and to you, my equal apologies as well. Whoever locked that first thread misinterpreted my intentions altogether and was too quick on the lock button, which I really didn't appreciate.
And what a dull day this would have turned out to be if I had only sent that email as u suggested. So much more fun when the community joins in, wouldn't you agree?
