Aion Boss Video, Full version!!

Well if u have seen the E3 video then you have seen the part where the
guy goes into the dunegon and has to fight the boss and then gets some
amazing powers and owns him. Well this video is that part but its only
from Start to finish with no cuts at all, it even shows a very cool
part of maybe how the story line unfolds, he seems to have an evil arua
around him after the fight. chech this one out its very awesome.

    I'm really not criticizing here, but if the bosses are soloable, what's the point of it being an mmo? Looks like a singleplayer game from that video. Cutscenes and all.

    so ? FFXI had cutescenes also ? is that so bad ? i think it makes mmo beter with cutescenes bc you get more involved into the story ! this game looks very promising actually ! sure gonne keep my eye on this 1 !

    Yeah? Try killing a Boss solo in FFXI.

    ofcourse FFXi is a teambased game but it still got the cutscenes and it worked out great in my eyes ! Dunno maybe the mobs were this weak becouse it is a beta ?

    well what i can tell u about this video, i have spoken with NCSoft via email, umm....lets see, the guy in this video is acuatly a high level and they were only showing off what that ONE boss battle will be like, i have some other videos on Aionsource.com and one of them shows a cinimatic of how that ONE boss is kind of like ruler of the demons of something like that. So this boss fight is really just a storyline fight more than raid boss/drop fight.

    I dunno, I happen to like solo content. I think it is fun and makes you feel a bit more badass. I dont play games to be mediocre; I play to be a badass mother shut your mouth. Team content is good, but so is solo content. A nice mix is the way to go. Its good to be on at 3 AM when no one else you know is on and still be able to go and do something meaningful instead of having to log off cause no one else is around.

    here, let me clarify my meaning. As I said, I was not criticizing, only stating what I saw. I have no problem with a cutscene in an mmo as long as they are handled well, such as FFXI. But if I was to watch that video, not knowing beforehand that it was an mmo, it would never cross my mind that it was anything but a singleplayer game. That is what I meant in my previous comments, just sometimes I have atendency to rush through and not make myself clear. And yes, I believe there has to be a balance between solo and group play, which is the only reason I won't play FFXI.

    its one boss, and with the right gear and experiance, many raidbosses ar soloable.

    just look at the mages soloing bosses in WoW.

    Oh, I'm sorry. I took "I hate the MMORPG.com forums" and "I dont want to be missed by a forum I dont care about" to mean "Im not coming around here anymore." My mistake.

    But now that I know you are posting, be sure to post when you've posted more videos up... even if it is just an advertisement for your site.

    its not my fansite o.O im just dont feel that the mmorpg are really the place to talk about games that you like because you flamed by alot of people that dont like the game....so why not just put it all on a fansite, where people would go to read stuff/post stuff/put stuff about the game that they like.

    That is true. The mmorpg.com community tends to try to eat anyone alive who gives there opinion on a game, why cant we just disscuss games normally anymore without being flamed for our opinions on them, sur eim not saying iv never done it there have been times where i have just let off some steam with a post flaming another game, but on the hole i prefer to actually give all games a good look over and a good chance first before i judge them.

    I havent seen many flamers on the Aion forum.... but then again I dont read many of the other game forums so I could be wrong.

    It didn't always use to be like this dudeman, this was a much less hostile forum site at one time with many great discussions going on with people who put some thought and research into their post.

    Nowadays we have alot of flamers and immature people showing off how "witty" they are.

    The MMORPG genre have recently brought in alot of "new type" gamers. Its pretty sad that topics that are  completely acceptable and are regularly made are things like "WoW vs___", "Korean games suck" and "___game rulz" just to name a few of the trash subject post that are made here. In some cases people just flat out lie/exaggerate just to make a point. 

    Its only a matter of time before the trolls show up here on the Aion board. (I can pretty much name the people who will be here to dog the game once it catches their attention, one of the Korean game haters has already "probed the lines" here, so to speak)

    I would say once the game gets an article or two on the home page should do it.

    Well, let me just say as one of the staunchest anti-korean gamers here, I actually am hoping Aion will give me a reason to like it when it is out. It seems like a decent game right now, but the proof will be when it is open to the public. If it is another L2 clone, which thankfully I am seeing differences at least in the description of the game, then I will bash it because I am sick of one clone after another. However, if it truly is as unique as it is being portrayed and the community is decent, then I will proclaim my Korean-gaming bashing to be over! And since Gameloading finally got me to try Trickster, I gotta say at least the asian anime-style games are not all bad::::02::
