Monk or Bruiser?

I have really enjoyed my bruiser so far and love the dps, I also love being an Iksar but a few people have told me bruisers a gimp compared to monks. Is this true? I dont want to reroll but I guess I will if I have to. Any input?

    dont re roll just betray Freeport and move to Qeynos. That way you can still be an iksar but play a monk!

    Betray is the option as mentioned above, which luckily can now be done at anytime.

    thats betrayal seems like a nice system. I played an Iksar in EQ and always wanted to be a "Good" Iksar. I guess you can in Eq2. What is involved in betraying?is it a soloable thing or does it require alot of time and a lrg group? Are you totally excepted by  Qeynos or do you have to prove yourself?
