Where are the mods when you need them?

There's a ton of threads about SWG.  Yet when people post the smallest things people get banned and threads get lock in a matter of seconds.

Now this has turned into a massive flame war on epic proportion.

    there watching and waiting till someone explodes. then when that happens and monkeys fly out butts and swg becomes a good game then they will do something lol.::::20::::::28::

    I don't know. Well about 4% of the total topics I make "magically" dissipear when people are actually replying. Well, I don't know what I can do about it.

    I was actually thinking the same thing about the sudden onslaught of Eve threads, written under two different accounts but by the same person, I suspect. Really, these threads are started with the explicit intention of provoking a flame war. It would be nice if the mods actually took the time to clean out this trash, and ban the instigators while they're at it.

    I don't know what to think about this whole group of people who just... BOOM!  Started to post and shit on OUR community and expect us to RESPECT them for doing NOTHING we can prove.

    I find it a little bizarre that three (perhaps more, I counted three) different people just started posting the same random crap threads all at once. It seems a little too convenient, seems premeditated to me. I guess we can just thank our lucky stars that they didn't go completely overboard and spam random crap until the forum crashed out. Then again, who knows what this might escalate into if the mods don't take action.

    Yeah, I was just in the SWG forums........

    I'm pretty sure "Ultyma" and the other "EMU devs" are all the same person laughing at the flame war they've started. Its just too convienient, besides, they've never cared about MMORPG.com Before.

    But yeah, Small things are killed, big things are disreguarded. I mean, look at all the political flamewars saying absolutely vile crap about the other side. They either need to A. (Preferably) kill the flamebait or B. not bother will all the harmless trolling and such.

       Aw... Why do I feel like this was talking about me? Several people insisted that my threads were both random and crap, that's why...  I assure you, however, that I am me, and nobody else. Then again, you could be talking about all those thread that actually were both random and crappy. I don't remember what they were, since I clicked on them once, and never again. I haven't seen anything bad enough for "action" to be taken, though.

    Really though, I'd have moved on long ago if not for the Off Topic forum here. Small enough to regularly see some familiar faces, but big enough to keep things moving as a reasonable pace.
