New Player Guide

I am currently in the process of creating a new player guide for EVE and my corporation. If anyone wants to get a feel for the scope of EVE right now, check it out over at:

Please, let me know what you think.

Looks good so far, are you going to add jump gates and the high way jumpgates?

Not my initial thought - the highway jumpgates are automatically taken into account by the autopilot - plotting the shortest/safest route (all highway systems are max (1.0) security).

The tutorial is designed for people who have already got the game and done the basics covered by the actual tutorial, so I didn't see fit to add navigation in.

I'll bear it in mind for the next revision though.

It is probobly just me cause I only played beta.  But, I never quite figured out the auto pilot back then and it tended to become annoying.  Is the tutorial the same as it was way back then or has it changed to include a lot more?

Yeah, it's a lot more fleshed out - there is an inspace and instation tutorial, plus you are assigned a starter agent who gives you missions that gets you out of your beginning solar system as well.

Failing that, the ingame "Help" channel is usually well staffed with volunteers to give you a hand should you get stuck.
