how does this trojan acess the pc.  Does anyone know???

    Just run a search in google with Mydoom and you'll get all the info you need.

    why the heck do people make dumb viruses anyways.  I know a 14 year old kid who shut down ebay but whats the point....???....

    Yeah, there was an article in the newspaper about this the other day.  Apparently the only way it can access your computer is through email.  And of course, it does the auto-sending to everyone on your address book.

    Recognition mostly. Its a very competative market. Some have been known to land very exclusing jobs with government agencies etc.

    Some of them are pretty dumb, though.  The guy who wrote the LovSan worm put his email address, webpage, and phone number into the file he wrote...and eventually the cops tracked him down.  Pretty dumb.  Why would you put your personal information?
