  This game is a GREAT option.
  
  Although I'm only lvl 40 right now, I've heard that max level characters still have LOTS of fun. There is plenty to do endgame. PvP isn't really prevalent in FFXI, but the little there is I heard is very interesting.
  
  The map size is... big. And there are a lot of maps... To me, travel time is a big turn-off, especially early in the game. But once you get an airship pass and a chocobo ticket, things should get much easier. Plus, with the recent personalization of chocobos, they should be much more accessible.
  
  Lots and lots of different places, lots and lots of different mobs (although a lot of them look the same with a different name), and lots and lots of different spells (and abilities and skills).
  
  Tarutaru is the best for white mage.

  There are tons of things to do endgame. But it takes much MUCH longer to get there than WoW or other games.

  The game is decently big. This isnt like WoW where it's one huge world, there's zones.

  Hey just want to share my fastactic
  experience about getting Final Fantasy XI.  At first i was skeptical if
  the game is that worth spending few bucks but when i started the game,
  its really fun. One more thing is, i was able to get the game without
  spending a drop of gas going to the store but its pretty cool going to
  the store and have great opinions from the store staff about the game
  so you don't need to check this out
