Awesome! So kewl that he plays, he's a great pitcher. See his home setup? He has like 4 widescreen LCD monitors. Really nice story thanks fgauer.

He even played EQ1 and had some articles on him before.

Apparently he is fanatical about the game and has even written reviews about it  in pc gamer or some magazine.

Kind of neat that he plays. Though if you think about it it makes sense. Pro atheletes need some escape. All the travel and what not they do. I'm sure Kurt uses this game to pass the time. His party days are over and he looks like a family man to me. So he enjoys the game and most likely uses this to keep him out of trouble..lol.

Though almost everytime ESPN the magazine or Sports Illustrated has a feature like "what's in their travel bag" I have seen a MMO about 90% of the time. Most of the time it's WoW but I've seen a few EQ1&2. Also I saw a DAOC once.

Good way to relax. With all the press and screaming playing a MMO is a great escape for them.

Oh....I'm kind of sad though I'm not a high lv player. It states that he's going to playing a bad guy that you can kill. I was going to slay him for all the Yankee fans out there. *mumble* freaking red sox sucks.....*mumble*.

If I remember there were some celeberties who played EQ1 as well way before EQ2 and WoW. So its not surprising that some would get into EQ2, even if its only athleates.

I always smile when I hear about celeberties and athleates playing video games and especially when its MMO's.

They'd only put yankee symbols on end bosses to give the rest of us more of a drive to kill them all the quicker. Yankees SUCK, go SOX.

He has actually written a few reviews of EQ1 expansion packs for PC Gamer magazine as well.
