Dungeons & Dragons Online is opening up the 64-bit Cormyr server to all for a limited event, offering access to a server-exclusive event and another chance to get Year of the Dragon items.

    The 64 bit server did nothing to help the lag. Was a really bad experience on that server for the first 3 weeks, eventually stopped playing because of it, sucks.

    The lag is gone now. They continued to patch it. That is why the event is happening now and open to all. Go login and see for yourself. They needed to get the 64 bit server tuned and that is exactly that they did.
