Apparently the devs over at Frontier thought today would be a great time to join the ship selling party.
"The latest patch for Elite: Dangerous is a little bit less about content additions and more about the cash shop, which is now offering up its previously announced pre-built ships for players to spend their cash shop currency on – including the Python Mk II, which is available three months ahead of when it will be on offer for in-game credits."
