I have about 100hrs into Albion Online... play it almost exclusively on my cell phone.

The depth of the game is excellent and I find it really fun.

On Combat, you level up weapons, armor, and accessories... each has unique skills and choices. You can mix and match these to create your build for whatever you're doing (PvP, PvE, Hybrid)

What to run a a mix of heavy/medium/light armor to pick the right skills for your playstyle... go for it.

Weapons have 3 skills that can be active at 1 time (you can choose from 10+ skills on a weapon... and weapon families have multiple weapon types.. that have some unique abilities each... e.g. crossbows have 7 different crossbows).

Head, Chest, and boots have 1 skill each that can be selected + a choice of 1 passive (e.g. more defense, more offensive, more utility).

Then you have a bag, cape, and a crap load of mounts to pick depending on your situation. Total of 6 active skills + a lot of passives...

Crafting and resource gathering is great. Having an island and farming/animal raising/animal taming is fun and not high maintenance... plus you can choose different laborers that go out and bring back valuable materials or silver every 22 hours.

Best part, zero bind on equipment gear... everything you use can be sold in the local markets... and they sell quite good.

Auction houses are amazing and have great features.

Because it is 1 server... all the local markets are busy... and players everywhere (but the map is huge... so you are not on top of each other in open world.

Gameplay is great on my cell, to joystick styles... mobile and traditional (I use traditional).

Arena (it's 5v5) is super fun for me and very solo friendly (solo pug matches or sign up as a group for premades). Looking at solo players stats(which you can see in game, along with gear and skills selected) almost all have a 50% win rate... so it's pretty balanced.

Zero questing aside from 20 min intro)
    true sandbox.

Dungeons and PvE hits the sweatspot for difficulty. I find almost all mmorpgs are very easy... I find in this game I can easily die if I'm not paying attention or fight a boss wrong. Dying costs $, because it will damage your gear... which you'll have to repair (if gear gets under 70%... power of the gear goes down).

If you like New World... almost every system in this game is just so much better... except graphics. Graphics are like League of Legends (same with combat style).

If you like solo PvE, group PvE, pvp, pvp with full loot, faction warfare, guild system (which I haven't even mentioned) and a massive crafting system... this game knocks it out of the park.

    True sandbox... so no quests.

FTP... and you can pay for subs with silver earned in game ( 1st month I payed for a sub to expedite building my character to pay for subs in game... which is very doable at high level content).

    I wrote way too much...

Surprised that Eve Echoes not in the list. It's a great one too!

I played it a little. It's really good.

Everything is kind of explained to you in a cinematic way so it takes a little bit to get the hang of it I feel. But once you do, it's basically like an exploration game. You have to run around the world and share a little candle flame with spirits. Then they come alive and you have to follow their path in order to unlock them.

When you meet other players you can signal you want to join or team by lighting their candle. Also when you enter new realms it let's you put out a signal to ask players of they want to guide you and help you find spirits.

It seems like the lower levels don't have a ton of players. I only seemed to have run into maybe 4 or 5 others in each zone, except at main hubs where there seems to be more. You can also leave messages for players in bottles for others to read. Most of the ones I read were in other languages but some were pretty cool. One guy asked "should I pursue a career in game design" and other people left little hearts on the message.

It's really a relaxing game. I loved it at first but I'm more of a combat and challenges kind of guy and the vibe in this one is very serene. I like it on Android but the controls can be a little wonky. I'm probably going to pick it up again on the switch now that it's released. Really cool idea just don't think it will be for everyone.

I was thinking when I saw the title ...short list... that it couldn't be a very long list in the first place.

The only two I found that felt like actual MMO's would be Albion and Runescape which both have PC counterparts on the same server.
