Any bets on who will be the first person to skip over the five times that the article is marked as sponsored (three on the main page and two at the top of the article proper) to express shock that the article reads like a paid ad?

Everyone knows you must mention something 7 times before people notice. Besides, I did not get the email, text message, facebook notification or X message indicating it either. How am I supposed to know anything anymore?
Let's be honest. They don't care what it says. They'll complain whether something is mentioned, warned about, highlighted, or anything else. People like to complain and won't let something like a highlight or warning stop them.
I actually might check this out now that they've done some reworking. It's enjoyable for people more into RP than just another theme park experience. LiF itself was rather enjoyable when you had solid player numbers. But that's the catch. It needs more than a small community to feel fun.
I'm tempted to support this game solely due to its straight forward and honest monetization. $20/mo take it or leave it. Man that's refreshing. All in or all out. No cash shop with boosters to solve the problem engineered by the developers to highly encourage you to buy them. No P2W. No cosmetics locked behind a paywall.
Unfortunately I just don't have time for MMOs in general right now and sandbox MMOs are the grindieast of the bunch.

FYI: The Red Banner above takes you to the MMO site but the text link in the article that says Life is Feudal:MMO takes you to the LIF:Your Own site and if you buy that you may not be buying the same game (not really sure on that any more).
Along those lines, is this no longer on Steam? Because I Kickstarted the original and got Steam keys for the MMO and the Your Own versions. But the Steam Page looks like it hasnt been updated in years.

The good thing about a project that failed multiple times, never reaching any substantial amount of players, is that people don't actually know this existed and shafted the few that supported it more than once
I'm never interested in survival like games, where you have to gather and craft everything. I have a real job and don't care to adopt a second one for fun. How is exploration and combat in the game? I'm assuming there isn't any story, which is fine in a sandbox.

I half agree. I personally don't mind crafting but the constant need to eat and drink in a game just for the sake of it is getting old. Idk why people find the bog standard "survival" game fun. They are all the same with all he same mechanics/gimmicks. To me the survival genre is oversaturated with garbage. This game had a good core and ruined it with epic amounts of convoluted systems.

Don't worry I have done that sort of thing before, so many games are alike, the industry flogs genres like a dead horse.
