Way to kill a franchise 101. Don't create new stories on it for decades at a time.
nah, actually it is better, people will be extremely hyped when they released it. (GTA 6 feeling)
Im happy to hear its in development but I dont want to think about a new toy I will be getting in 6 years from now. Is the trailer even going to be relevant to what they are making in 6 years from now? Meh!
"This game is just nowhere near coming out. I was told that when they revealed Dragon Age: Dreadwolf in 2018, this is similar in terms of timeline. That was announced in 2018 and we're not getting that game until maybe next year. So now do the math for that, and we're talking 2029 for Mass Effect 5."
Pretty much what is expected at this point if you keep up with the Bioware game studio and their goings on.
How is this a surprise to anyone? All they have shown so far each year since the announcement back in 2020, are extremely short several second cinematic teasers.
They probably have no clue still yet in what direction to take the next game nor written a single line of code yet.
Just like Bethesda with Elder Scrolls 6, which has also been pushed back several years.
I think only Rockstar has this kind of powerful luxury with pushing a date back that far for qualities sake- the other big names like EA, ActiBlizturd, Konami, Bethesda, etc, wouldn't allow it.
Fishing on Gilgamesh since 2013 Fishing on Bronzebeard since 2005 Fishing in RL since 1992 Born with a fishing rod in my hand in 1979
It's pretty obvious that the studio, the team, is working on dragon age. Once that project is done, then they'll move onto Mass Effect.
Like Bethesda working on Fallout 4, then Starfield, now after a few Starfield expansions are completed, they'll move onto The Elder Scrolls.
People that were expecting the next Elder Scrolls releasing before Starfield were ignorant through the roof. Like bitch, they TOLD you that they're working on Starfield. That means NO ELDER SCROLLS. Like learn a thing or two about how studios work. Sheesh.
