    This is like development 101, add everything you can think of to the MMO, but if the fans like it then great, what else matters?

    Personally I'd rather see swimming added before pets if we're talking about things that are largely cosmetic and won't radically change the game. I realized this might make some areas accessible that previously weren't but in general I think at most you'd get a few shortcuts that previously you'd have to go around. Other than that I'm playing the expansion and enjoying it. As a solo player with suboptimal gear I can tell you some of the overland content is quite challenging. I've left my share of death markers in the new zone.

    I am a bit in two minds on pets I have seen them be nothing more than cosmetic items or be paid for in game helpers. There is a sweet spot in between those two poles, hopefully NW aims for that.
