Pax Dei Says Alpha Still on This Year, Talks Friend Token to Up Alpha Invite Chances, and Releases Test Stats | MMORPG.com
The Pax Dei team is affirming their plans for alpha this year, adding their Friend Token system could be a way for you and friends to get to test faster. Plus, stats from the small Friends and Family playtest.

It's a tough thing to deal with. I really like the MMORPG genre, but the reality is it takes a lot of time and money to create one and the player base is shrinking. It seems the only way to get a good new MMORPG is to take a chance and back the one that looks like it has promise.
I will not back a flat screen MMORPG again, but I have no problems backing one for VR. I think that's the last hope for the MMORPG genre.
That said, Pax Dei looks pretty good.
