Studio Wildcard unveiled (and released!) Ark: Survival Ascended today at the Xbox Partner Preview, with a brand new trailer showing off lush lands, dangers brewing, and dinosaurs, among other creatures you'll have a chance to potentially tame.

    Wow, this looks fantastic. I hope Ark 2 will look just as good or even better. I can't wait to see what else studios can make with Unreal 5.

    Players still on potatoes though are going to need to upgrade if they ever want to play an Unreal 5 game.

    It says Early Access and "coming soon" on Steam. It's not out, so...

    It is supposed to come out today.  Several delays, though..... it may wait to come out tomorrow (Thursday).

    These days, Graphics don't impress me like they used to.  Don't get me wrong, I think they look amazing.  However, I've been lured in with great graphics, only to find that the game is sub par.   Show me mechanics and other substantive parts of the game for me to get excited.

    It does look amazing though.

    I definitely don't go with early reviews.  There are always people chomping at the bit to give negative reviews as soon as they can.  I don't doubt that there are problems with a newsly released game, but I would wait a while for reviews to stabalize.

    ARK has done a great job with their IP. I am sure they will get things optimized. Larger the game the harder it is to do that. Im looking forward to seeing the story in this new ARK game. IMO this is what this game was missing most.

    Hope to see an article on the crazy launch issues.

    Rollbacks, Instability, Having to macro join servers, and not to mention official servers are having huge issues with metal even respawning.

    Yeah, ARK: Survival Ascended is in early access, so I wouldn't expect it to be bug-free, fully optimized and running butter smooth.

    So many people don't seem to think this way apparently.
