Well, as Todd Howard said, "we'll stop doing it if you stop buying it."

Other than some technical changes and the addition of new creation club content, I'm not clear if I need to buy it...

If it's visually better then perhaps.

If the only way to access the new creation club content is  through this new version and the content is good then "perhaps."

Depending on what you mean, I kind of agree.

Their creation club was "ok" at best. and not a hair above.

They had an opportunity to really invest in making great content and they could have consistently been raking in the money but it's like they did bare minimum.

It would be more impressive if they fixed known problems with the game engine. Maybe worked with the SKSE bunch to incorporate it into the game. There are a ton of things they could have done, but it appears as though they took the easy path to update CC and make sure it could be played on M$' new console.

And lets see, adding 30 hours of extra game play and fishing? Kind of pales in comparison to the Rigmor series, The Second Great War, Vigilant and numerous others which add a ton of excellent content. All I can say to the new M$ masters is ... Yawn.

Been there, looked at the content and found nothing in CC that I want. IMHO, between Nexus and other modding sites, there are far more and better mods that what I have seen on CC.

Not releasing the price for this latest version of Skyrim yet has got me thinking they're going to gouge it as much as possible. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think Bethesda as highly as I used to years & years ago. I've still got my fingers crossed for Starfield, but no way I'm pre-buying.
