PSU Issue.

I was playing a game the other night when out of the blue my PC shut off. I had to unplug the power for 20 sec to get it to turn back on. When running OCCT everything passes but the voltage test. As soon as I hit the voltage test it shuts down in less then a sec.

Just order a new PSU?

That sounds like PSU not giving enough power when both your CPU and your GPU reach 100% usage.

If you want you could also try to decrease the amount of power your GPU is allowed to draw and checking if that would help.

What power supply do you have, anyway, and what other hardware?

It does sound like the built-in overpower protection on the PSU.

Some motherboards also have similar protection (Anti-surge or some such) that I've seen trigger similar behavior as well. That you can usually turn off in the BIOS.

    What Quiz asks is important.

It could be a lot of things.

Anything overclocked? That will definitely increase the amount of power needed.
