MMORPG.com Please add Dapp (Decentriliazed application) forums and coverage

    Decentralized applications are not a magical solution to stuff like forums, and most of the time they aren't even a good solution. Rather if it works well enough on a cloud server somewhere (I don't know what MMORPG.com is using), that's usually the cheapest solution in terms of both money and admin time required.

    If MMORPG.com has extra money they might want to consider spending it on the UI/UX stuff and polishing the website. But reworking the background stuff for the sake of following different ideology would be just colossal waste of time.

    I think you may have missed the point of what he was trying to say. I don't think he was implying to have a decentralized application forum, which would be a weird way to work the backend of a simple forum. More along the lines that he thinks DApp games should have separate forums.

    DApp games are generally pretty bad, but there's a wide range of them. I think it was brought up here cause of the recent article on blockchain games, but not all blockchain games have to be decentralized either, and not all DApps necessarily require a blockchain, only a decentralized authority network.

    Ok, ty. Yes it looks like I missed the point.

    A forum for dapp games might not be a bad idea. But I don't know if MMORPG.com should add any more coverage for them, since most of that would be financial gambling stuff rather than gaming stuff.

    As I read through the list of the top 25 DAP games that I shared it did seem that most of them dealt with financial gambling more akin to Entropa Universe, just with fewer game elements.

    Pretty much. A lot of them also are more leaning to the "earnings crypto" side of things. Personally I think since crypto is kinda like the wild west out there, most of the games are more of a proof of concept that the players take a chance on because everything in the crypto finance market is a chance. 

    Sometimes you make millions, sometimes you lose it all. The same could be said for the games. If that one game becomes popular, and that nft you earned can sell for 10k dollars... that's a gamble worth taking for some people.
