Missing Worlds Media has provided an update on their development of City of Titans, which is a self-described spiritual successor to Cryptic's popular super hero MMORPG, City of Heroes. The development team wants players to know that, despite being quiet over the past several months, Missing Worlds Media has been highly productive at bringing the game together.

    Tried playing COH again today and can't get into it anymore..... it's had it's day... It is Time for a NEW game to come out to update the OLD model.

    I wish City of Titans, Valiance Online, Ship of Heroes or any super hero MMO in development looked like it was going to be awesome. 

    City of Heroes is a massive pair of boots to fill even more so since Homecoming happened.

    How Marvel isn't all over this and Marvel Heroes screwed up and shut down is just beyond sad. WTF are they doing...

    As for the video I hope you like slow pans through an empty average looking city.

    Why does it look like these devs have never been to a city before? None of the buildings look like they belong next to each other or have any real attachment to the hilariously bad ground textures they sit on. The incredibly lackluster art style and graphics are almost insulting to the Unreal 4 badge the video opens with.

    Homecoming is expanding things slighlty. For example, the Freakshow has taken Rikti weapons and Sky Raider jet pacs and Vahz tech and incorporated it into their gang giving us new enemies.

    But I get where you're coming from. When I signed in back in 2019 I loved the game and the fixes and revisiting an old friend. But I'm slowly getting tired of it. I have four characters (had 8 in the original) all 50 and the last is going through the end-game content. It feels "been there, done that" and I'm considering moving on. This could just be a year+ of quarantine and spending a good junk of every day in the same room that's wearing me out.

    Hmmm, I think most cities have buildings next to each other that don't look related.

    Heck, go to Boston or New York and you will have newer looking buildings next to buildings from the 1800's.
