Kingdom Hearts is one of those series that has captured the...erm...hearts of fans everywhere. PC players can now join in on trying to understand the story as it was announced today that long-standing console series will be coming to PC as an Epic Store exclusive.

    While I absolutely LOVE the Kingdom Heart series, these prices are absolutely stupid!

    The whole series can be bought on ps4 for relatively cheap too.

    I got my complete edition for $30 and Re Mind is only $30 as well I think. The new Melody game is still $60 bucks, so that is fine. But around $220 for the whole series is absolutely insane!

    I feel like this won't sell well. If people who haven't played it yet have a ps4 or ps5, then they would just go the cheaper route. Those who have played it probably have the series and wont be shelling out another $220 for the pc version, even if someone finds out how to mod them. And those who have been on the edge or already are not SUPER interested in trying are not even going to bite.

    I don't know why they thought these prices for games that are YEARS old would go well!

    Imagine waiting almost 20 years to play the series on pc and not only it's still exclusive on the platform you also have to pay 220 dollars, yikes!

    It is a game I care about, I've been heavily invested in it since the first game. But there is nothing to be upset about. I can't imagine anyone having followed the series for years, anxiously awaiting the chance to play it on a PC. You'd have to have some serious console-hate (and self-loathing) to subject yourself to that.
    I'd be cheaper (and worth it) to buy a used ps4 just to play KH.

    There is no information here to make an intelligent decision or rating of the cost.

    I know for example a dude made HD texture updates to several areas of FFXI and took him a very long time.This kind of work isn't easy nor should it be cheap.

    Then if there are other enhancements to gameplay on top of graphics there is even more work gone in to it.

    This however is just posting an advertisement for Epic games store here which imo is lame.If your going to create an article like this,at least get the proper information behind the PC version so consumers are properly informed.
    As is just looking at nothing more than a sales advert,then NO it is not worth it and YES it is over priced.Maybe with better information it becomes a viable product.

    The good thing about games releasing on the Epic Games Store is that there's always the chance they'll be given for free.

    I'm not personally invested in KH myself, but if I was I'd want the physical version on PS just like I do with every JRPG I buy.

    I have heard good things about this series, as usual I can't make out at a glance what the series sequence is, what the difference is between each game. But an internet search or indeed someone on here will say which one to play. If it is all of them wait for the Xmas sale.

    I hate to admit but this might be the first time I give epic money....One thing dealing with them though and I'd highly suggest waiting as well because of this, they always give 10$ off on any game over 14.99 during their holiday sales, so if you're interested, I'd suggest waiting. Plus they don't have a cart so it would be 10$ off per game if you wait for a holiday sale.

    I have like 50 games I'd still like to play thanks to big steam sales and epic free games, in addition to games I play hundreds of hours every year.  I can wait years for these games to lose exclusivity and get a cheap price. :)

    Them finally hitting PC is great news.

    played the first 2, game was just smashing buttons, the target way I see it was always kids who liked disney, so its a huge meh for me

    plus i'm more interested in persona royals hit the pc, and cold steel 4

    The series sequence is insane. Technically all of the games have lore that pertain to other games in the series and the story is insanely complicated for no reason but only if you want to look into it that far. 

    The play order is in line with the 1.5 / 2.5 releases so it would just be 

    Kingdom Hearts Final Mix

    KH Re:Chain of Memories

    Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix

    KH 358/2 Days 

    KH Birth by Sleep Final Mix

    KH Re:Coded 

    KH Dream Drop Distance HD

    KH X Back Cover 

    KH 0.2 A Fragmentary Passage 

    Then Kingdom Hearts 3


    If you wanted to play all of them in release order 


    Otherwise you can just play the main 3 and get enough of the story to understand what is going on.
