I'm developing a 2D MMORPG for mobile & pc. It's mostly going to be focused for the hardcore grinders. Game is still in early phase development.
There is going to be a Prestige System so that players can progress without any limit.
Once a player reaches the level cap, they can Prestige and go back to level 1.
Each prestige level increases their skill point multiplier by 0.1 and the level cap is increased by 5 levels.
I'm trying to keep it simple but also engaging.
There will be no pay2win. There will be no auto play.
I hope to bring something new and exciting to the 2D MMORPG genre.

There will be bosses that will take hours, days to kill and will require a combined effort from the community to defeat. Hopefully the player will be there for the death of the boss and have the chance to pick up the legendary item.
Players will grind mobs that spawn on the map.
There will be open world pvp & Bounty system.
Game is going to be completely free to play.
Right now our focus is launching the game for alpha testing and balancing the items, equipment, mobs.
I'm just getting a little exposure.
Attempting to grow a little community and get some player input. Will definitely be looking for people to participate in testing.
Nothing is for sure at this point.
My main focus is the prestige system and balancing everything. I know it's impossible to please everyone but I do want to make a fun game. So lot's to think about.
What are your suggestions for pvp?

PVP is something I havn't put a lot of thought into yet. So still in the very early stages.
Non-consensual PvP and bounty system are things that if they're done badly will cause much more harm than good for the game. Unless you're going to make them your game's main focus and spend the time required to do them well I'd suggest leaving them out.
Just slap a /duel system so that players can test some 1v1 PvP for fun, but otherwise leave PvP out.
