    Hi. Good review. I have this mic too, but to me, it has a high level of hiss with gain set to record voices or other typical medium to soft sources. I notice hiss too in your recording, though perhaps this is from the fans you say were present. Do you sense that mic (or built-in-preamp) hiss is excessive?
