SEGA Europe Ltd. And The Creative Assembly Ltd. Have released A Total War Saga: TROY on the Epic Games Store. Those who head over to the Epic Games Store within the first 24 hours of release will get the game completely free.

    Epic is trying to make people Love them ........so for a while they are giving free games hahah

    Maybe people will eventually LOVE THEM if they give away enough freebies
    Basically they are trying to BUY your Love  and its working !!! hahah

    Hell, even I'd love them if they gave away Cyberpunk 2077, so who knows.

    Rather than spending on tons of advertising they are spending it on games to give away.  their goal is to get you on the launcher, which is all they could hope for with an ad campaign.

    On a side note, Apple just removed Fortnite from the apple store for breaking their rules on in-app purchases, and now Epic is sueing apple lol

    their price apparently not $50, it's $30 something after the free period

    cyberpunk probably go through GOG, but apparently they are also working with epic.

    Great for some people, but many people like me had launcher issues and were unable to log on in time. I have to wonder if this was some kind of ploy on their part. I know it sounds sinister, but to many people I spoke with had the same issue, black screen with the launcher not working.

    Uhmmmm... you could have just gone to the website. I got it on my phone for free via the website.

    Exact same crap happened to me. The black screen launcher. I sent them a complaint within the time frame of it being free. I hope they honor my request as I am a huge Total War fan.

    Had the black screen launcher problem as well. I know my cousin and his friends all had this issue as well. Its really a pain in the ass since it kept me and a bunch of other people from getting the game for free. I tried all the fixes and nothing worked. Mysteriously today, it works just fine. This is some serious BS to me and there is no way anyone will convince me this wasn't a problem on their end.

    I see now it wasn't just me.  This is a special kind of wrong they are pulling on people.  Epic store equals epic fail for me!
