Sometimes people just want to read something related to RPGs and such.  Here is a short list of reading some of you might like.
From back in the days of rec.games.frp we had Thomas Millers The Adventurers. You can read them here now:   http://www.peldor.com/chapters/index.html

There is also the The Noob by Gianna Masetti. The adventures of Ohforf in the game Clichequest! A must read for mmoRPG players.  Can be found here:  http://thenoobcomic.com/archives/

Another fun read is Rich Burlew's classic The Order of the Stick.  Check it out here.  http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0001.html

If you have a favorite, post a link and share it for others to enjoy!

Kyleran:  "Now there's the real trick, learning to accept and enjoy a game for what it offers rather than pass on what might be a great playing experience because it lacks a few features you prefer."

John Henry Newman: "A man would do nothing if he waited until he could do it so well that no one could find fault."

FreddyNoNose:  "A good game needs no defense; a bad game has no defense." "Easily digested content is just as easily forgotten."

LacedOpium: "So the question that begs to be asked is, if you are not interested in the game mechanics that define the MMORPG genre, then why are you playing an MMORPG?"

Yeah, huge order of the stick fan myself. The noob can be pretty fun as well but Gianna is really slow with updating.

Here are a few more: http://mangafox.me/manga/log_horizon_nishikaze_no_ryodan/v01/c001/1.html A side story about Log Horizon, standard manga story about the players getting stuck in their MMO but it is better then most of the theme. A note is that this is more serious then my other suggestions but there are other MMO related comics then just comedy.

GU comics have been around since EQ, jokes about MMOs and other gaming related stuff. It is rather fun.

Experience boost is about 2 female gamers, it is not that unlike the Noob.

And there is of course the pen and paper related Knights of the dinner table, it is about some people sitting and gaming at a table and really fun if you like pen and paper games, sometimes it is a bit like order of the stick, others it is like nothing else I read.

Of course, many depend on how fast you read. Sometimes I can read a huge book in a day (especially if it is about MMORPG xD) But for example, if this is some kind of text for college, this is doomed to be a complete failure - I can spend a whole week reading a tiny article -__-
Though, some MMORPGs are very well developed in terms of texts that pop up during the game. Perhaps they took into account the features of reading and convenience or used some platform like EduCat to convert words to minutes and be sure that the text would not distract the gamer.
