The Elder Scrolls Online twitter has dropped some information regarding its future on the upcoming Microsoft and Sony consoles, the Xbox Series X and Playstation 5. For those that already own Elder Scrolls Online on consoles, fear not, as the upgrade to PS5 and XBSX will be completely free.

    That's your loss, ESO for being a B2P game that is constantly on sale is a pretty great game compared to not just other F2P/B2P games but also others that 'Require' a subscription.

    Just wish the monthly payment option would cover both console and PC if you purchased for both platforms.

    I'm starting to think consoles are going to lose any legal ground to not offer people 'free upgrades' just because a new version of comes out sense there's really no physical games anymore, unless they can prove there's significant feature differences between the ps4 and ps5 versions of the game. Otherwise its just all data being downloaded and them trying to charge people again for data they already bought access to prior.
