I'll stick to what I said the Microsoft store is the problem.
PSO2 uninstalls itself and leaves an inaccessible copy on your drives taking space. If indeed it is the developers fault how come all these other games uninstall themselves.
Not much gaming really, except log into FF14 once in awhile.
Mostly spend time resting waiting for eBaseball Powerful Pro Yakyuu 2020 and Ghost of Tsushima.
If it is the launcher then why does the JP version not have similar problems. Also I read other games on the store also has problems according to folks on the PSO2 Reddit.
We deeply apologize for the inconvenience and the negative experience some of you have had when trying to download and install the game. Please know that we are working hard to solve these problems and that we appreciate your patience.
All they state are they re sorry for the difficulties and are working to fix the problems. I don't see any admission of culpability for the underlying issue causing the problems using MICROSOFT to download the game. Using Tweaker has resolved all issues I had; i.e. self uninstalling, hanging up on launch, doubled hard drive space... etc. I'm not saying Tweaker is the fix for everyone, but it sure as hell beats MS store for performance in regards to PSO2 for me.
PSO2. I haven't tried to get any cosmetics yet so I am the level 61 running around in default clothing. All I earn including swap shop the exchanges are for Lambda Grinders and Ex Cubes. I am broke from trying to shrink my Parfaits and that is not an euphemism for some Waifu or Weebo thing. I hate that bloody Ariel and her I'm sorry when it fails.
Seriously love the game though.
I envy you for being able to play it. The download link on the Microsoft store literally won't work for me.
The Microsoft store really is dogshit. I'm no Steam fanboy, but the Microsoft store is dogshit.
I use the PSO2 tweaker. Never use that damn store.
The issue is with the PSO team's launcher not Microsoft. The team acknowledged the issue on their end. Not sure why so many people continue to regard the past to judge the present in relation to the Microsoft store. It is not as bad as some think. Or make it out to be.
Grim Dawn
I just got my first character to level 100 on elite setting. The updates they keep putting out are just amazing. New gear new content. And the next one is adding new zones that will fix the broken bridges that are everywhere. That could be another expansion in any other game but it will be another free update. The game is really good.

It's very different and focused around multi-classing for some great combinations. Somewhere between POE and D3 in complexity,

Finished The Last of Us a few days ago incl. Left Behind. For some reason I've never finished it back then. Loved everything about it, then two days ago my wife bought me TLoU2 as a present for our anniversary
So far I'm about 3 hours in and not disappointed but I didn't follow any articles about the outcry (I guess it was because of some trans character but I coultn't care less) Will see how it turns out to be in the end but so far I can't picture it being bad. I hope I'm not wrong.
Other then that I've worked on building my pile of shame with the recent Steam sale and got: - Curse of the Dead Gods, so far a really good rougelike with some good ideas and almost perfect controlls
- Cloudpunk, absolutely beautiful artstyle/world but gameplaywise almost a walking simulator with really bad voiceacting but just driving and walking in this cyberpunk town is enough for me to enjoy it
- Inside, yet to play
- Firewatch, yet to play
- OneShot, yet to play
- MO: Astray, yet to play
Well and then there's Ghost of Tsushima right around the corner...
I have finally been able to put a dent in steam folder for games I haven't played yet. Still have about 10 to go, but I just finished Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order and Terminator Resistance. Now I am going to begin playing Yakuza Kiwami 2 and Mortal Kombat 11. On deck are Mirror's Edge Catalyst and either Endless Space 2 or Out Of The Park Baseball 21. I will be busy this month.

POE seems to get all the praise because of the online thing. I played POE and liked it at first. But I feel you are really tied down to certain builds in POE. In Grim Dawn, you have more freedom with builds and it's dual-class system. Also, the combat just feels better once you get stronger. At 5 bucks for the base game is not bad but you will need the two expansions to get all the classes and new items later. I would just spend the 30 bucks for everything now because that is a deal too.

I watched a couple of videos on it, it looks really fun. I took the plunge but jus $5 for now. I don't progress as fast as most people so the base game will last me quite awhile I am sure. Thank you all for your imput, it was much appreciated.

Cool be sure to go to the website and join the forums. The community is really helpful to new players. Remember to plan your character. You get to pick two masteries. One at level 2 and the other at level 10.
GW2 mostly. Playing the living story at the moment and getting Mastery Points. So much is locked behind them. I'm starting to get wrapped up in the characters but the writing is not as good as ESO or WoW.

Yeah just hit level 10....I haven't found much gear wise so I don't really know what to do class wise.....I still have no idea what i am doing so I just kill stuff lol....Picked demolitionist as first class and had no idea what to do for second class...Most vids show individual classes but don't talk about multi'classing and what works well together..... I guess that's the fun of it though but I can see I most likely will have to start over as I learn more.
I've started playing Pathfinder: Kingmaker this past week. I've discovered that it loves to hang Windows 10 when trying to Alt-Tab around, or Shift-Tab to activate the Steam overlay, when I Exit to Desktop and even just randomly. It is supposed to be an issue with Full screen mode, so I'm going to try it in Windowed mode a bit. That may kill me, though.
Logic, my dear, merely enables one to be wrong with great authority.

IDk about that game specifically but most modern game's Windowed mode have an option for a full screen borderless window virtually indistinguishable from full screen.
I do that with almost every game I play these days precisely for that alt-tab problem that many games have, It's because full screen mode has exclusive access access to the video card and then has to stop that when you alt-tab. It should be a smooth transition but for many games it isn't. Windowed mode handles that switch back and forth much better.

This guy has many written guides that take you step by step through a build telling you what skills to use, when to level it and how high.
Even if you don't end up playing one of his builds as written and just do your own thing, his guides serve as a good tutorial for beginners to figure out the thought process for building synergies.
Just be aware that any build that uses either the Inquisitor or Necro need more than the base game. Also, all dual class combos have unique names. See this link for the names: https://grimdawn.gamepedia.com/Masteries
If you want to google builds use the combo dual class name.
My favorite is Cabalist (Necro + Occultist.) It's a great summoner build where I just cast skills to buff my pets and let them do all the heavy lifting.

Full screen windowed mode seems to have helped my issue, for a two hour session, anyway.
