A new PvEvP fantasy action multiplayer game called Project Shadow has recently started up a Kickstarter. Here are the details.

I'm sure that guy is a good artist, but if he's the only one on the project they have no leadership experience nor programming experience.
This Project is only a visual pitch so far, an idea and a dream. Yes. You read it right, there is no real game to be played yet. We can run at all places with the character and that's it so far.

His work looks pretty good.However making some nice character art doesn't make a game.
So far it sounds like yet another BR with promises,your not getting my money for a BR,so your going to have to finish the REAL game first.

Kickstarted MMORPG's on the other hand...
The average MMO is a rundown park, littered with broken bottles, where hobos fuck in plain sight and drug deals power the economy of the local hillbilly backwater town.
Instead of trying to be like WoW, now everyone is trying to be like Star Citizen.....Make a couple hundred million and don't even have close to a finished game several years later.
Eh.. not feeling it.
Maybe someone else can get excited about that concept.

That's still $168 free money. All the other scamstarters not being charged with fraud has opened the gates to anyone who has ever worked on any game ever to try their hand at milking gullible gamers. Except many more of these to come now that a fk ton of people are out of work and more over the next few months. People will start justifying scamming strangers through things like this to feed their families cause if all you have to do is pretend you're working on a game why not, right?
An artist asking for 900k for ideas and concept art is obviously a scam. Just look at what he's saying you can do...

Yeah fking right, PVP, RACES, World, quests, how stupid does he think people are after almost 10 years of kickstarters lying to us with veteran devs not being able to put together a base game(CU). People who were heads of entire game studios can't make basics work but somehow this artist is going to give us everything give me a break.
