    I'd also recommend Unstable Unicorns. Very malicious yet cutesy. An enjoyable party game, for sure. But ya with CoVID-19, not much partying. :(

It is certain to build family rivalries, especially if one person seems to understand the strategy of the game more quickly than others,” says one reviewer. “It’s probably the most fun kids’ game that we’ve found so far,” says one who bought it to play with her 4-year-old. “It has tons of replay value and is pretty unique as a game. One of the great things about it is that the board/maze is always unique and changing, so everyone is always engaged in finding new routes to their destinations as the play goes on.” She concludes that this game is “a fun way to work those little brain cells” for her kids.

    I wish we could turn back time when board games were the thing ,long before video  gaming.Friends and family got together it was fun and intense at times.

    Now life is too fast,not many are into board games anymore.I guess if there is even a 0.5% interest that is still a large amount of people that like board gaming.The problem is trying to get your friends together would be nearly impossible unless it involves drinking pizza and chicks.
    Family,well yeah family all does their own thing now,everyone all grown up,they have their own life challenges so board gaming is pretty much done,it had it's days.

    Kids,your not going to convince the average kid to do anything except hang with their friends,talk on cell phones,play video games,so even for kids board gaming is a long lost art.

    All one needs to do is look at Twitch,we didn't need any virus or lock down,people were already boring people hanging out in their room trying to con people into giving them money.They are not board gaming,they are sitting in expensive gamer chairs,talking into ridiculous large mics with heavy bass settings,flipping their hair every 10 secs.

    Nope the world has changed,people changed,board gaming is a done deal.

    Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

    Not sure about Pandemic as a choice for kids atm, that said one of our broadcasters thought it fine to show the film Contagion the other night. The gold standard of broadcasting doing their best to maintain calm and keep the drama out of this unprecedented situation. :)

    Tales Of the Arabian Nights to let them drift away in fantasy and Monopoly to teach them abut the real world.

    Nope the world has changed,people changed,board gaming is a done deal.

    There are a lot of things that people used to do before x, y and z.

    As late as the 19th century, people used to gather around after dinner and sing songs from partbooks.

    My mother used to tell stories of family get togethers where they would put on plays and comedy skits for the large family gatherings.

    I'd still argue that board games and tabletop gaming is alive and well. There is a game store in Central Square (Cambridge MA but essentially the Boston area - things are close here) called Pandemonium Books and Games, where one Wednesday night we took a visiting friend's son and the Bottom floor was PACKED with people playing all sorts of games.

    I'd say that if one wanted to delve into board games one only has to buy a few and plan a game night. I know a lot of the younger people at your company do this. We've actually had company sponsored or departmental sponsored board game nights.

    Just make it happen.

    Under the qualifications of this site those are all massively multiplayer games, just not online.
