    I'm confused. Are we saying congrats to them for being able to publish Eve in china or was that a image taken from their site as some kind of grand statement "BEHOLD WE CAN NOW LAUNCH IN CHINA WHERE THE VAST MAJORITY OF PLAYERS FOR EVE are not".

    Either way it looks muppet like.

    Not a lot of chinese nationals on this site. Hell not alot of people period.

    I play eve and the mobile version and I gotta say... No one cares* that china is allowing CCP to publish their 12 year+ game.

    *aside anyone from china because lets face it...those aren't the metrics this site gets.

    Anyhow now to celebrate the fact pepsi can now sell bobba in china too! WHAT A GLORIOUS DAY FOR CAPITALIST PIGS!

    Errmm, EVE Online HAD a Chinese server for years, since 2006 (until 1.5 years ago). And it failed big time in the end, stagnation reigning supreme. One in-game corporation taking over the whole server.

    People that like to play EVE are already playing.

    People forget that EVE already had a Chinese server called Serenity.

    Unfortunately for that server, it didn't fraction very well like the European/US server did and one Alliance ended up owning pretty much all of the space in the game.

    The Europe/US servers, thankfully, self-segregated into dozens of different competing factions all vying for space and power in the game world which makes for a far more interesting play style.

    Honestly, thank God for the Russians, Germans, Aussies and others that formed their own corporations and Alliances in EVE, because that diversity of competing languages and cultures really helped the game not become one big stupid alliance.

    New servers... maybe we should all form new corporations on the Chinese servers and crush them beneath the heels of our capitalist boots of righteousness?
