Saw it yesterday. It's sure a bad news for the fans, it wasn't unexpected. He was mostly on the creative side, and as I lament on it a lot, they're now all about milking the online.
Now with RDR2 is out and its online was opened for PC as well, there's not much creativity left for him in the foreseeable future...
I guess the trickling rumours of an upcoming GTA VI will turned down into small droplets, if not a full stop as a whole. It was already in the Soon(tm) distance, now with him gone and how profitable the two onlines are, I doubt there will be any big standalone titles in a couple years at least, which is a shame.
From what I heard atleast from Rockstar in my city, the company is notorious for crunch time. I imagine with a persistent worlds, this has just gotten worse.
