Games with item malls should put free stuff in them

    The malls in Second Life had all kinds of free samples.  You could get a lot of good stuff just by hunting around.  

    I'm surprised, I've never heard NPCs talking about going to McDonalds later on, in MMOs, that's potential marketing income.  I think I remember a game letting you place a real order for Dominos Pizza delivery to your home or something like that.  Then there was buying a drink at 711 that came with a code for free in-game gear.

    Most games do that already. The most common way is by offering free stuff through redeemable codes, and the 'redeem code' button is located in the store.
