    What I find slightly disturbing is that they tend to always do female characters.

    I have no problem with gender lock but why is it that the majority of characters in this game seem to be female?

    Or do I actually just know the answer and it's mostly men making the game and they are just creating their fantasies?

    Just so creepy.

    A fair few of the male characters are actually pretty good, Ninja for one is considered top tier for 1v1 PvP.

    Any time you have a game where the women have porn star curves and Victoria's Secrets armor, you are going to see a lot of female characters because guys are playing them.

    I would not say it is creepy. More like, juvenile. Not that I can throw stones (says a guy named Amathe, after a long ago female character).

    EQ1, EQ2, SWG, SWTOR, GW, GW2 CoH, CoV, FFXI, WoW, CO, War,TSW and a slew of free trials and beta tests

    I don't really have a problem with that. I'm ok with revelling in attractive people "for the fun of it." It's just that it seems really weird that it's just mostly women. 

    So I guess, what I'm actually saying though apparently not doing a good job about it, is that it feels like the developers are all guys making their fantasy girls.

    If there were an equal amount of men and women then at least others could also enjoy the art style (If that were their thing.)

    Yeah, there is some psychology and sociology mixed in with this related to how different genders respond to visual sexual stimuli, but I am not going out on that limb.

    Almost like it's a korean game, where this [and lolis] are the norm.

    I think they are too slow in making both male / female variants because they are different enough to be their own separate class.

    Warrior / Valkyrie
    Wizard / Witch,
    Musa / Maehwa,
    Ninja / Kunoichi,
    Striker / Mystic,
    Archer / Ranger

    That's technically only 6 classes but in reality it's 12 because of how different each gender plays.

    The rest are single gender with only the Berserker being male while Tamer, Dark Knight, Lahn, Shai and Sorceress being female.

    I'm sure they will make some variant for a male guardian, maybe call it paladin, warden or Protector.

    I'm actually surprised PA haven't come out with a gender counterpart for the few that are missing one instead of making brand new classes.

    It's a Korean game, they are probably contractually obligated to make all female characters were heels. xD

    Quality looks great as always. Standard operating procedure in BDO. Would not expect any less.

    Western MMOs are too chicken shit to attempt what PA does -at least with character models and graphic fidelity.

    The whole scummy overpriced monetization thing they have no problems adopting -of course.
