Bethesda has issued a statement regarding the broken state of their Fallout 1st subscription service for Fallout 76 in response to scrapboxes deleting player items.

This new award must surely go to Bethesda, for their company exhibits an incomprehensible and endlessly entertaining degree of buffoonery on every level. From a marketing team prone to false advertising to the most consistently inept programmers and playtesters in the industry, to Todd Howard, a man who has seen his image transform from religious icon to self-depreciating court jester in a single year, Bethesda's absurdity knows no bounds, and I applaud them for the show.

Now, I have no interest in whatever they may be working on. After FO4 I realized this was no longer the same quality company I used to know.
Sadly I have seen multiple great companies fall to bits over the last 5 years. I used to love the Battlefield series games. Couldn't wait for Diablo 3 to launch, and when it did, only to find utter disappointment. Bioware... just a joke now. Ubisoft? yeah, Division 2 tanked.
Luckily I am currently playing Borderlands 3. And I am enjoying my casual first play through. They know how to make the next game in a series. Dont change too much, keep a winning formula, add on to what your strengths are.
Well...I bought into it and am not upset at all.
Probably would be a whole bunch of upset if I had experienced some of the issues being reported.
Only issues I regularly have is some hitching at times and random DCS and crashes which happen at least once a play session.
See the thing is, how angry a person gets is actually something entirely within their control.
I choose to play on and enjoy shooting Scorched in the face with my combat shotguns.
Although I did have big "fun" destroying an entire Ragstag herd by spraying them with the .50 cal machine gun.
Next time I use the mini gun or automated grenade launcher.
Is it so wrong to wish for a zombie Apocalypse? I think not.

16 times the buffoonery!
Never forget.
I just can't trust Bethesda to not change their minds over and over again, and at this stage, I wouldn't be surprised to see RMT being added into their single player games. Kind of sucks.
Step 1: Release trash game titled Fallout 4, make tertiary features a requirement and grindy without any payoff.
Step 2: Release trash multiplayer survival sim and label it Fallout 76
Step 3: Refuse to fix anything to save the burning ship of previously mentioned game, add more microtransactions and trash
Step 4: Introduce premium subscription for a private but not private singleplayer but not singleplayer version of Fallout 76, complete with P2W elements that carry over into the main online portion of the game.
Step 5: Profit.
This is better than watching most TV shows, I applaud these companies for bringing genuine laughter and smiles to the faces of millions.
