    I have to say I am confused myself, this does not seem to be the sort of thing you do in (pre) alpha, what is going on? It sounds like a beta event.

    Game shouldn't have events before it has a proper non-zip client.

    So, everyone thinks they should never test their ability to smoothly add/handle in-game events before launch?  That sounds wise.

    You have such event in beta, that's why it seems odd.
