They're still working on one star system. What happened to that new tech that would let them generate multiple star systems?

Reality happened. The tech is working, and now they've already added more empty terrain than anyone would ever want to visit. To add anything interesting they still need to spend huge amount of developer's time crafting new stuff.

I see no reason not to support their decision - if there's no content in empty space why player's have to waste their time

I wish their was a platform that would let people wager on whether star citizen would be released or not. I wish it would hold people to their beliefs and let them stake money on their bet. It would be funny to see all the people with no balls to bet against it or how much they lose when SC comes out. Its just going to be annoying playing with these plebs who hated on star citizen the entire time and then when its released, they bandwagon and act like they never said shit xD

Me too, so when it doesn't release we can bring you back in here and give the "I told you so" on an epic scale.

Anyway, the reality is, I believe it will release it's just that Goat simulator did it first...and with the same features.

    LMAO!

I'll be happy if the game goes into beta. But as long as the money is good, RSI will keep persistence. I just want to kill something.

of course it will be released at some point. and they will make a ton of money. but that doesnt mean it will be good or even half of what they promised, or last 6 months.

Wish there had been a platform for people to wager on when Star Citizen would come out.   I'd have made so much money on the people betting for 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, etc.....

Fairly reliable SC commentators (no one here) report that the development is going better now.   Probably attributable to Roberts being sidelined.  Investors don't have to be brown-nosers.  But it's still the most expensive game development ever.   Even with all that money SC is still weighted down by the years of dithering and disorganization.

My early prediction of a release in 2020 now seems wildly optimistic.  Hey, I can still remember when Erillion switched to 'It'll come out when it's ready'.   ;)

If i hear or read one more thing about this stupid game that's not related to when its finally going to be released im gonna scream! Im's so tired of seeing news for this game and it's been like 8 years and 250 million dollars in and we're still not looking at a release. just a bunch of nerds playing with our emotions and showing off more bullshit about the game thats not even a game yet. they just keep showing us more content information and more and more and nothing about a release date. someone needs to go knock on their door and slap them int eh face for wasting our time life and $ with nothing to show for it.

    The graphics are dated.

    Cancelled most core features.

Imagine playing the game they sold us 7 years ago.

    Come home, North Man.

I am not sure which game you are playing that has better grafics. I would be interested to hear it. Some screen shots would be helpful too (and which settings were used). Star Citizen on 4k and very high settings is pretty good IMHO.

Which core features have been cancelled in your opinion? Lets hear it. Please link to the list of core features you are using as reference.

And how can you know it is cancelled if the game has not launched yet and the list of features in the game at launch is not fixed yet?

    Have fun
