Yeah, saw this on reddit today and almost messaged you but it was so sad. I hope his family can find comfort in each other right now.

Completely agree with the above, way too young. His legacy however will live on, Horizon Zero Dawn is one of the best PS4 games I have played.

    RIP

I've lost friends and family of all ages, from 3 to 90+

One thing I've learned is that when it comes to death- there is no discrimination, no one is too young die.

I've come to realize that my most foolish self delusion is the idea that I have plenty of time to do things I want to do in the future.

It's probably the greatest lie we keep telling ourselves.

The very belief that someone is too young to die comes from this idea that everyone is guaranteed and deserves time in the future to do more stuff, however reality proves otherwise.

Nobody is entitled to anything(it's human fallacy), choose your battlefield and make your time. But don't sweat it, everything also happens in its time frame with its own tempo. Just don't miss opportunities you really care about.

Agreed! I had a cancer scare last month (totally fine though) and for a weekend I really thought that was it. That I only had 1 year max to live given the type of cancer it could be.

The idea that "it was over" was amazing. It really brought home that every day was, to use a term that I would not normally use, "a gift" and that I should live deliberately and enjoy what I have.
