Just got Doom 2016 on sale and man, I can not fathom how people can say its not true to the original, Doom 3 was the major departure. Besides that, I LOVE the 2016 version, it runs like a beast (80+fps on max on my 1070) and is lightning fast with brutal and extremely precise combat which packs a mighty punch, this is hoe you show damage and impact. Great, great game.

It is incredibly difficult to design some meaningfull leg content that would fit a space ship game - simply because it is not a leg game.
It is just huge resource waste....'

Has anyone actually solved the crashing with the game? i've done absolutely everything i can to get it working... Im just about to refund as i cannot play for more than 10 minutes or so without a crash and it seems to be a different crash everytime... I'd blue screen or straight to desktop its really weird....
This game is sick. Doom will always gonna be amazing imo. This one has a nice and fast pace of combat, pleasant graphics, super rad music. Battle scenes are amazing. This game just feels good and fun and fast. I love it.
OK... This is getting ridiculous. In this thread alone (page 2 alone), there are FIVE 1 post people with links in their replies. I have no clue as to the validity of those links as I'm NOT going to click on them. I know I've flagged 2 of these myself, yet here they still sit 4 and 3 months later.

Personally the only modern MMORPG trend that annoys me is the idea that MMOs need to be designed in a way to attract people who don't actually like MMOs. Which to me makes about as much sense as someone trying to figure out a way to get vegetarians to eat at their steakhouse. - FARGIN_WAR
