legendary items questions

So the Wife and I took a long break after they closed our server Firefoot but n=we have been back since November we played on the legendary servers to try and remember things now were on crickethollow playing all our old  guys. we just ave some questions that we can not figure out.
how do you change a legacy on an legendary item? I want to swap out one of the beornings legacies for man damage. is their a vendor some where that will let you buy the exact legacy you want? any help would be great thanks in  advance.

    It doesn't clarify the levels... Depends on which kinda LI is it, the regular "old" one (lower levels) or an imbued one? Imbuement has changed some things within the system.

    In the old system (earlier LIs before you imbue them) you can replace legacies with legacy scrolls, which you can get by leveling up and then breaking down other unwanted LIs.

    In the new system (imbued LIs) you can replace them by a push of a button on the window. There's a catch though, with the grind for scrolls is gone, just as gone the "free" part, the replace needs either MC or Lotro Points...

    edit: you can grind for those Points in-game, ofc

    The major cities will have a  Forge-master and Relic-master located together.  You take your LI's to them to deconstruct, identify etc...  Those are the only 2 that work with LI stuff.
