attack speed reduce vs multiple attack %

Basically , what design do everyone prefer ?
Attack speed reduce , for example 1.0s reduce to 0.5s or 0.1s or 0.01s
vs
100% or double attack / triple, quadruple, quintuple, sextuple, septuple, octuple ect ...

    I think it should come down to the build.

    If the class is all about using a huge weapon then it should be Attack Speed.

    If the class is about using a single handed weapon, or two weapons, it should be about double attack.

    Just my feels..

    Slow attack with higher damage output, or faster attack with lower damage output based on the size and weight of the weapons.

    Both ways work fine for me, it just needs to make sense. For example, doing fast attacks with a massive great hammer makes zero sense. Keep weapon attack speed vs damage well balanced.
