    I trust EA completely... I believe in them... I also believe Aliens have taken control of my microwave . When ever I activate the microwave... The machine whispers sweet nothings into my ear as I wait for my hot pocket... That says it all.

     He described the gameplay as "thoughtful combat" and emphasized that it's not a button-masher.

    Melee combat will be a big focus of the game, but the main character of Jedi Fallen Order is a Padawan named Cal Kestis; he's Force sensitive and thus capable of utilizing Jedi training to mix lightsaber combos with Force abilities. In addition to combat, players will be able to use traversal and platforming abilities to outmaneuver their opponents, as well as solve puzzles as they journey across the galaxy.

    One of the interesting things mentioned during the panel is Cal's lightsaber will grow and evolve over the course of the game, as it is a reflection of him. Although further details weren't provided on this, it could be that the weapon is customizable in some form.

    Jedi Fallen Order follows Kestis as he attempts to complete his Jedi training, which was cut short when the Emperor enacted Order 66 and branded the Jedi traitors, to be wiped from existence. Its set during the Dark Times, when the universe was smothered by evil and thrown into chaos. This period, according to Asmussen, serves both the story and the gameplay well. "Within this narrative, we’ve crafted a game with intense, yet thoughtful and fun melee combat using the lightsaber and Force powers, allowing anyone to fulfill their Jedi fantasy,” he said.

    It's such a shame that the old Bioware doesn't exist anymore because let's face it, a next gen KOTOR would still be the best star wars experience imaginable.

    SWG, remade to modern standards and without all the bugs would be, imo. Pre-cu ofc.

    I hate seeing an SW game being made...I always get my hopes up and then it's never what I want. Here's hoping.

    I hope Respawn makes a good game. If it doesn't sell well I can already hear EA's Blake Jorgensen say "see? i was right, gamers don't want single player games", even though God of War and some others proved him wrong big time.

    They didn't until they did, I guess... Like, uhh, with zombies, sci-fi and other nuances in movies/games. People want something badly and then don't want something at all for a time until time comes that they want to get captivated again. Epic gamer theory right here <

    You know the state of AAA gaming is bad when the publisher has to announce that it has no microtransactions or loot boxes.

    Honestly it sounds great, I cannot wait for more to be released.

    Looks awesome so I am looking forward to learn more about it, but for me NO MICROTRANSACTION is a huge plus. Love the focus on the story too. Great weekend for all Star Wars nerds like me. The Rise of Skywalker + Jedi Fallen Order, it feels like Christmas in April.

    So you want a modern MMO with 4 viable builds and no endgame content? Plenty of games like that around sir.

    Take my money. Where do I pre-order? Single Player, No MTX. I'll glady buy this game even if it's mediocre. So tired of BR and MTX. It's been pretty hard to botch a single player Star Wars game in the past.

    If I want a world in which people can purchase success and power with cash, I'll play Real Life. Keep Virtual Worlds Virtual!

    I just don't trust EA not to screw the customers over with this at some point. I will remain skeptical about things until it's been released and people have had a chance to play it before I decide.

    I'm not an IT Specialist, Game Developer, or Clairvoyant in real life, but like others on here, I play one on the internet.

    hype is real, I actually loved the level design in the last Titanfall Sp campaign, looking forward to this. maybe they manage to pull of a usable story in this universe xD since Titanfall is too bland to care about
