  Great article. My son is now 10 and a Fortnite fanatic, but we went thru the Minecraft thing together on console several years ago. Once he hooked up to the computer and started doing the mods and multiplayer stuff I got turned off. We still play Grim Dawn and Overwatch together though. It is/was a nice way to spend time together when the weather was too hot for the park. I never considered the valuable lessons he was learning because that kind of happens naturally no matter what we are doing. Thinking back, I could have used it more as a learning tool and he would have had just as much fun probably.
