does change in unity tos affect pantheon?

  The SpatialOS thing shouldn't affect Pantheon, since they aren't using that AFAIK.

  The change is aimed at developers that try to resell Unity to other developers as part of a cloud based service.
  
  Improbable created a big fuss about it likely for their own PR reasons, but it appears they're the sole company that's actually affected, and Pantheon isn't using Improbable's products.

  @Vrika That first sentence is misleading. It's not about "reselling Unity", because that is not what is happening with SpatialOS. SpatialOS uses Unity binaries that the developer is responsible for licensing. What Unity is doing is preventing developers from using Unity with other cloud providers leaving themselves as the only option, just like Amazons Lumberyard.

  
  

  If a developer uses their own servers, like Pantheon is likely doing, then it's OK. If you are going to use someone else's cloud service using their networking solution then you cannot use Unity.

  Well, they were shooting themselves in the foot with such restrictions so it isn't all that surprising.
