Some have commented that it may not be right making fun out of what is an appalling life. I think of it as educational, get no qualifications, learn no skills and here is where you can end up
I used to think like this, until a couple of years ago when my youngest daughter dragged (at the time it was dragged, I really didn't want to get involved to be honest) me into helping out at a Christmas Meal for homeless people at the local church.  You should try doing something similar, think of it as educational ;)

You would be surprised how many homeless people are educated to a decent standard and skilled but have through circumstantial changes in their lives, fallen through the cracks in society.
Yes, but if you just sit on your arse in school you greatly increase the chance your life will have such a poor outcome. That is not to say misfortune will never bring someone low.

It's a difficult situation to be sure.  A lot of people are just a few paychecks away from being homeless if they don't have family to take them in after layoffs.  A serious illness that's not covered by insurance can take away a persons life savings and home in the U.S.  Things really got bad when the government started closing down state run mental health facility, forcing the mentally ill into the streets.

It's sometimes hard to tell a persons real situation just by looking.  Even people who run surveys can be lied to by scammers thus skewing polling results.  Not an easy problem to solve.
