During last night's The Game Awards 2018, Midwinter Entertainment announced its take on a cooperative / competitive (co-opetition) survival shooter, Scavengers. The announcement came with a fantastic looking cinematic trailer and the news that play testing will begin in 2019.

    “co-opetition" Ok I need to know who came up with this. I need names and places. Hell gaming is looking bleak anyway. Taking a 20 years break might come in handy.

    Just make a good co-op shooter before adding survival mode. Otherwise it look like a weak attempt to capitalize on trends and buzzwords.
