Niantic has relaunched its original augmented reality game, Ingress, as "Ingress Prime". The new version of the game features a number of interface improvements, a fully 3D experience and a rebooted storyline that will change over time as more players get involved. The Dunraven Project live action series will replace the Ingress Report and a new Netflix anime based on Ingress Prime will launch in the future.

    Weird, people kept all their progress of the "old" Ingress. I was expecting a wipe or something.

    Until Niantic does something about the fact that literally anything can and will be marked as a portal this game will always be a prime joke.

    Have they made downloading the portal's picture optional yet? Cause that alone uses a crap load of data. Im not playimg this game anymore until they get serious about giving the option to minimize your data usage. I know hat the portal looks like, i dont need to download the picture 100 times a day.
