The problem of the annoucenment is that they made it to be their last and biggest of the day. It would be the same as Bethesda, at E3, showing Elder Scrolls for mobile as their last game of fhe show without even giving the public an ES6 teaser trailer.
And to add as someone posted above. I don't know how nor why. But yeah, they are "removing" dislikes from the dislike bar somehow. Maybe bots went and made a mess and youtube was contacted... Who knows?
If that were true they wouldn't have removed my dislike from the gameplay trailer, in an attempted rebuke I reported the video. Doubtful that anyone will do anything since California is giant circle jerk, but hey it was worth a shot.

Don't worry If anyone says anything ugly Blizz will delete the comments, just like they are doing on the Diablo Immortal Cinematic Reveal Youtube page. Most of the comments aren't even being rude, but stating they don't like the idea of Diablo mobile. Those hateful bastards! The nerve!

It was about 100k dislikes from each video, some of mine were included. Oddly mine the official cinematic trailer wasn't removed, but mine from the gameplay and eu trailers have been removed.
Makes you wonder if their damage control is not worse for them than just letting players speak their mind. Ipcc can do it, but you are not in that league Blizzard.
Did they announce that this Blizzcon was going to be addressing the mobile audience? I don't remember that ever being advertised. Why invite paying customers from PC and Console platforms to make a mobile announcement? How could they possibly think this would be received well, especially when it replaced any big announcements for the PC or console?
It would have been better to warn people in the first place and even better yet to have established separate gathering areas for the mobile stuff and PC and console crowds. It is standard procedure for any massive seminars that I have attended to break up meetings into topics of interest so you don't waste people's time with information they are not interested in discussing.

If you've been on their youtube videos, make sure to check back every now and again. They've removed about 300k dislikes so far and have deleted comments with the highest upvotes on the first day (well written ones, though now that it's reached the "Streisand effect", people are copy / pasting a middle finger and asking them to delete that).
Due to frequent travel in my youth, English isn't something I consider my primary language (and thus I obtained quirky ways of writing). German and French were always easier for me despite my family being U.S. citizens for over a century. Spanish I learned as a requirement in school, Japanese and Korean I acquired for my youthful desire of anime and gaming (and also work now). I only debate in English to help me work with it (and limit things). In addition, I'm not smart enough to remain fluent in everything and typically need exposure to get in the groove of things again if I haven't heard it in a while. If you understand Mandarin, I know a little, but it has actually been a challenge and could use some help.
Also, I thoroughly enjoy debates and have accounts on over a dozen sites for this. If you wish to engage in such, please put effort in a post and provide sources -- I will then do the same with what I already wrote (if I didn't) as well as with my responses to your own. Expanding my information on a subject makes my stance either change or strengthen the next time I speak of it or write a thesis. Allow me to thank you sincerely for your time.
If the shoe was on the other foot Mark Kern would have a mobile/wearable version of Firefall while his poor fans tear each other apart about weapon/armor breaking mechanics during the never ending alpha of the PC version.
