    Great review. I truly hope consumers do not buy this generation of GPUs until after Nvidia cuts the prices on them. Bank rolling their promise is a bad move.

    Agreed. While we are seeing good performance from the RTX series so far, it remains to be seen as to how RTX and DLSS will impact overall performance once activated. At the current price point, it is a high gamble.

    I did buy an rtx 2080ti. It crashed/malfunctioned my windows 3x prio to rma... now im happily using an 1080ti. (Malfunctioned = totally destroyed)

    Ya, that's not a thing. User Error, more likely.

    If you say so it's not a thing then why did an IT Specialist get the same result with an corrupted windows? I freshly installed windows 3x and it destroyed it over n over. Never buying any gpu from PNY again. Last installation hold up 5 seconds (did not even do anything / install anything) and that card corrupted that.

    unless you have tested a few 1000 cards making that type of statement is like blowing bubbles ... means nothing... there is a possibility that something is wrong with your board .. something wrong with the card.. memory ... psu... your hands when it comes to installation.. etc etc etc...

    in 20+ years in IT i had seen everything fail at some point. so unless you have a large enough sample tested your personal experience does not represent anything this company makes.
