Looking for an MMORPG (Yes, another one of these.)

I've tried a few MMORPGs, but to no avail. I'm limited on cash, so I can't just go out and buy something to try it out anymore. So I was wondering, perhaps you all could give me a hand in picking an MMORPG for me. This is a litle summary of what I'm looking for:

I played Shadowbane for a while. I loved the game, it had the best PvP in any game I've ever played. The classes were very fun, but lag, like the hunting and leveling, became all too repititious. And given the limited friends I had in-game, I was forced to quit. Shadowbane still holds a place in my heart for all the PKing I did, though.

Played Lineage for years. Addicted to it to no end.

I was watching Horizons for years, until they mentioned they would have no PvP. Now, hearing reviews and watching trailers that I missed, I think it looks really good. I got to thinking perhaps I'd try it and get used to the game until PvP came out, but not if it is very limited to PvE. I heard in beta there were only two different monsters.

Played FFXI, but I want to be able to solo if I can't find a group, I want to be able to solo. Soloing gets way too repititious, and groups are very hard to come by. This is my fear with Horizons, but perhaps groups are easier to find in the land of Istaria.

I am currently trying EQ, and it's alright for the most part, but I fear if I don't find some people to interact with, this game is doomed for me, as well.

So basically, I'm looking for good combat. PvP is a major plus, but if it has great PvE that can tide me over, then I won't mind.

If anyone can help me, I would be very greatful.

    might want to try DAoC its pretty good game it has good PvP and PvE IMO

    you lookin for a game thats allready gold?  if not you could play Dark and light it going to be sweet.  www.darkandlight.com www.darkandlight.net  and of course my guild www.sofdnl.com :P for games allready out i heard Ragnorok Online is good

    Is it in beta? Or is it yet to be released in beta? Because I read the FAQ, and it said beta "starts" September 2003.

    It looks like a pretty cool game.

    And I'm liking your guild's website. :P

    I'm sure if you wait until after the 1st of the year, alot more online games will be showing up. I hope you find what your looking for out there.

    I'm going to Lineage 2 most likely when it comes out. But I could use something to tide me over...

    Try Anarchy-Online!

    You can pretty much solo in this game... and finding groups isn't to hard to come by in AO.

    The PvP in AO is pretty fun in some cases.

    I actually just stopped playing my 7-day free trial of AO. Had a level 12 Agent and a level 9 Adventurer. It got way too boring and repetitious. All the quests are the same, all the monsters look the same only renamed.

    NO. It's goona be crap.

    And yes you really shoud try DAoC
