There's a lot of eternity going on in Crowfall these days. In the first of a pair of new videos, ArtCraft shows off a look at Crowfall through the eyes of its Eternal Champions. In the second, viewers get a bird's eye view of some of the games "stunners like Srathor's Lawn and the Cities of Ravenheart", to name a pair.

Hmm, been wanting to get into this game more, but having a hard time it reminds me so much of WoW but if I wanna play that, I will just play that. :/

It reminds you of WoW because you haven't look at anything but the graphics. The game is nothing like WoW. They couldn't be more dissimilar. There are no quests, dungeons or raids in Crowfall. Gear doesn't drop from mobs. Everything is crafted. Crowfall is an open-world pvp sandox. WoW is pve theme-park with pvp arenas and battlegrounds.

The game looks so bad. Like some crazy mish-mash with no taste what so ever.

And using Unity. What a mistake.

I have two new games made in Unity. Pillars of Eternity 2 and Battletech. Both make so much problems on my graphic card. Its overheating although it can run such simple games at maximum with 20% of its power.

I guess its because Unity is engine made for phones. And lacks any real optimization for PC.

This is why even with such simplistic graphic Crowfall runs at 20 FPS when more than 3 players are on screen.

The only thing I don't like about Crowfall at this moment are the lines on the ground. There's more aesthetic ways to relay AoE.

How this game could remind ANYBODY of WoW is bey... never mind. I just got finished watching an episode of Who Is America. I'm just... I... I'll go sit down somewhere.

I have a really hard time finding the art style, cartoony, and rat race interesting and appealing. Yet, we rvr'ers don't get many options these days so I'm still looking forward to giving this a go.

Well, that's a bummer because I'm the other way around: Gigantic, for example, holds a special place in my heart and I would kill for a MMORPG following that art style.

Yesterdat I watched some episodes of Disenchantment and I would love to play a RPG following that art style (look the background art! It's so gorgeous!) - And again, I would kill for a MMORPG following that style and not another one realistic mucle men with sword that takes itself serious and somewhat needs to validate the low self-steem of the one handling the avatar.

Firstly, I also watched that show and found it mildly entertaining. Secondly, you seem a lil biased against "muscle men" mmo art styles. I'm 6'4, workout daily, and am successful. My interest in playing a "realistic" art style of an mmo doesn't come from "low self-esteem". Kindly keep your opinions to yourself or label them as such next time please and thank you (see what I did there?).

My concern is the combat. If there is no block button I'm gonna have real trouble being immersed. I've voiced this concern very early on, maybe a week after forums opened up.

The days of running around smacking each other in the face has passed imo. That style works for tab target I guess, but not for action.

So what you are saying really is there is little actual gameplay outside of a crafting simulator and players pointlessly womping on each other.

    How fun............

If PvP isn't your thing, that's fine. Doesn't mean it isn't fun for other people.

As opposed to pointlessly wompiing on brain-dead scripted mobs?  Keep telling yourself it's somehow superior.

    Yup.. that's all there is.

If that is not your flavor, this will not be the game for you.
